The TEMPO project consortium consisted of ten partners in six European countries. It included complementing partners such as research companies, industrial companies, district heating operators, a university, and an industry association.

Vito / Energyville

VITO stimulates the sustainable development and reinforces the economic and social position by providing innovative technological solutions and scientific advice and support.

EnergyVille (EV) is a cooperation between VITO, the University of Leuven, University of Hasselt and Imec in the field of sustainable energy and intelligent energy systems.

NODA

NODA provides the market with cutting edge intelligent energy systems, and takes a leading role in designing the new sustainable smart energy landscape by combining system scale optimization with energy efficiency services for buildings.

AIT

The AIT Austrian Institute of Technology, Austria’s largest non-university research institute takes a leading position in the Austrian innovation system in the areas of energy, mobility, health and environment as well as safety and security in Austria, and a key role in Europe as the RTO focusing on the key infrastructure topics of the future.

Thermaflex

Thermaflex produces per-insulated piping systems and technical insulation. It has over 40 years’ experience and is active in the fields of District Energy, Renewable Energy, Green buildings and is specialised in the efficient and sustainable distribution of hot and cold water, heating and cooling in buildings and outside buildings.

ENERPIPE

ENERPIPE GmbH is a leading manufacturer on District Heating systems and it provides customised solutions for an efficient heat distribution. The head office is in Hilpoltstein, Germany and the company is primarily active in the German market, however it has been also involved in District Heating projects across Europe.

a2a Calore & Servizi

a2a Calore & Servizi S.r.l. is a company within the A2A Group, one of the major Italian multi-utilities, active mainly in the environmental and energy sectors. In particular, A2A Calore & Servizi is the Italian leader in the district heating field, where it has been active for more than 40 years.

Halmstad University

Halmstad University is an independent university, founded in 1983, located on the Swedish south-west coast. It has an internationally recognized district heating and cooling (DHC) research group led by Professor Sven Werner at the School of Business, Engineering and Science (ETN).

Euroheat & Power

Euroheat & Power is the international association representing the District Heating and Cooling and Combined Heat and Power sector in Europe and beyond. The DHC+ Platform, a part of Euroheat & Power, leads the dissemination and exploitation activities in the project.

Solites

Solites is a Research Institute for Solar and Sustainable Thermal Energy Systems within SIG. Solites investigates and develops solar and sustainable thermal energy systems focusing on innovative and new technologies for which either no state of the art is available or a need for adaptation exists.
